Another cold day – they’re all cold! And, like I should know by now, I never know what’s going to happen with this busking lark – yesterday, over £18 taken but today not even £5 for the same time. I was sandwiched between Bob Jacksons’ rockabilly trio at the top of the high street – in front of the Christmas tree, and The Salvation Army Band at the bottom near the market. Still, must carry on…until my amp spluttered and died – The batterys were dead, I’d forgot to pack the reserve ones and didn’t have any money to buy some more. Time to admit defeat and go home.
